I was supossed to post about this once I got home after the show .. but I was way too tired. This is probably gonna be an extra long post, so bare with me .. if you're reading :) haha.

So yesterday was the best night of my life, and i'm so happy that I got to witness GLP's greatness. If you don't know who they are, you're honestly missing out <3 Gabe Bondoc, Leejay Abucayan and Jeremy "Passion" Manongdo came to Toronto on Saturday all the way from Cali. So I went with my cousin and we took the Go bus and then the subway downtown. The plan was to go around 10 and be there by 12 since that's when the festival started. But .. stuff happened and we had to leave later. That situation kinda killed the mood for us, but that was the only downside to that whole day. Anyway, we were downtown at around 3 .. and we started off checking out the festival and some of the performances. There were all these tents set up at Younge and Dundas Square, and then there was the stage. Nothing was really going on, there weren't many people near the stage watching .. it was a decent crowd at the time. So we decided to go eat at Pickle Barrell after walking around Eatons for a bit. Then walked around some more to kill time. American Apparel was down the street, so we took a look .. and ended up spending :( gah, ahah. Then it was finally 6:00 and we went back to the square and it was getting a little crowded .. not too bad since we got to the front. There were these girls in front of us, and I wanted them to leave so badly so that we could get the very front LMAO. And they ended up leaving after a while , so we took their spot hahah. Everyone was basically there just for GLP. I love how everything started getting intense at around 8:00. We were honestly standing there for a good three and a half hours waiting for them. OMG , then there was this creeper guy behind me. MAJOR CREEP : It was scaring me. He was SO CLOSE to me. I understand that things were getting crowded but .. like he didn't have to be so close. I was gonna elbow him so hard, aha. It felt like he was tryna do something : .... but then thank goodness he left. There were some really good performances. There was this one guy that was sooo siiiiiick on the guitar, I'd post a video but my computer's being stupid. Anyway, when it came down to the last performance before GLP came on my cousin saw Gabe in the tent backstage!! haha. It was so unbelieveable. I still can't believe that they came. We were all yelling his name and he saw us and waved haha. The crowd went crazy! Well the ones that saw him. Everyone just wanted that last performance to end so that they could come out lol. It was crazy!! Everyone started chanting "GLP" until they came out and then we all went fangirl crazy (haha jessica ;]) ! But honestly, I was so excited. They came out and sang medley's, and their originals one by one. Man, Leejay was awesome, especially hearing him live. The beats were amazing.. you all need to check him out. Passion's voice was SO GOOD, and so was Gabe's .. it was heart melting. And at one point .. Gabe was singing and this one line came up, "say you love me" .. I forget which song it was .. but then me and this girl beside me yelled out " I LOVE YOU GAAAABE! " and he heard us and waved :D happiest moment of my life ! So many memories. Oh, and then someone threw out a thong out on stage : haha. But they didn't seem to pay any attention to it. I'd blog about every detail about their entire performance but it will take way too long ahha. But anyway... highlights of my night :

When their performance ended :( .. they had a meet and greet, and we were supossed to make it a clean entrance or whatever into where they were signing and taking pictures. But there probably more than 100 people and security was only letting 5 people in at a time. Me and my cousin were pretty close .. but it wasn't even a line .. so we were just moving up slowly. The people said that if we started pushing and shoving they'd close the gate and end the meet and greet. Thank God that didn't happen! haha. We were in the line for about 20 minutes and once we were near the front, there was this one girl behind me that got separated by her friends who were in front of us. She tried holding on to them and her arm was like choking me. Like wtfff .. you can't do that, hha. There's a bunch of people in front .. so you can't really expect to stay together like that. But whatever, we eventually got in .. and then seeing them there was like a miracle HAHA. I was obviously starstruck even though they're not megastars that EVERYONE knows -_-" not like .. the jonas brothers or whatever. Haha, so yeah .. just seeing them there with other fans taking pictures was making me all nervous and I just wanted to meet them. I was really excited to meet Gabe cause he was like one of the first youtube stars that I discovered and because of him I found all the other great stars too. They're all such musical inspirations to me <3 Once me and my cousin walked up to them, Leejay and Passion were like " HEEEEY! Nice shirts! Those are so awesome!" haha. Something like that. But it was soo sweet and we were so happy to have made the shirts cause they actually noticed it. Then they both told Gabe to take a look at it and he liked them too! LOL. We couldn't really stay and chat with them cause they were kicking us out. But before we got kicked out, I got to give Gabe a hug :D that was THE BEST, ahha. I also got to give leejay and passion a hug, but I was just so happy to hug gabe lmao. Then I gave him a button that we made, and I wonder if he kept it .. LOL. I hope he did <3 We got our picture taken and I was about to buy a cd when they kicked us out and I was so bummed, but so happy at the same time. I honestly can't believe that I got to meet them, haha. I'm sucha loser right? :D LOL. Naw, I'm just a hardcore fan ;) I didn't wanna leave yet, so then we just hungout by the fences that were surrounding them, and then I called one of the lady's that were with them and asked her to get me a cd and she actually let me haha. There was a signature on it already .. but I think that they all had one. They were all pre-signed. So then after walking around for 10 minutes I went back and asked her if she could sign it .. I told her what my name was cause I thought that we could get it personalized, but then she said that I had to wait if I wanted it personalized. Except I couldn't really wait long because our ride was coming so I just asked her if he could just sign his name. Then when she gave it back, it had my name on it! haha. Whatta nice lady :) LOL. I'll be keeping that cd cover forever and like frame it up in my room lmao.

Watching them was amazing. Just listening to them sing and do what they do best was somehting that i'll never forget. It was funny, because I thought that they would look different because I've only seen them in pictures and videos. And you know when you see stuff like that on the internet or on tv, but when you see it in person it doesn't really look like it. Well seeing gabe, leejay and passion was like watching a youtube video .. only live? haha. It was kinda .... yeah, I can't really explain because it won't make any sense haha. It was truly a great experience though, and I hope that they come back again! Maybe with more youtube stars too! :D haha.
